WHAT IS AgrIOT
AgrIOT is a geo-spatial agriculture data management platform to collect and analyse large-scale fruit tree data reliably, timely and efficiently, using mobile apps and wireless sensor networks. AgrIOT supports farmers, agri-service providers and government institutions to increase productivity, reduce losses due to pest and optimize water use efficiency.
AgrIOT can be used by a single farmer with a few hectares farm area up to government institutions with hundreds of extension workers servicing thousands of farms nationwide. AgrIOT is available as web-application https://app.agriot.app/, and as mobile app from App Store and Play Store.

TrapGIS
TrapGIS is the AgrIOT module for management, mapping, registration, and monitoring of your insect traps and includes mobile apps for in-field data collection and web portal for pest management. It is a powerful tool to improve the effectiveness and efficiency whilst reducing the costs of your extension work force and your IPM program.

PalmGIS Features

PalmGIS has been developed for farm managers, extension workers, scouts, agri-input suppliers, agri-consultants, researchers, government administrators.

- Report and log your palm tree maintenance and monitoring in the tree record using annotated pictures.
- As an option we can offer palm tree mapping service using high-resolution satellite or drone imagery.
- Tailored tree maintenance protocols to instruct your extension workers or field labor in maintaining palm trees and collecting e.g. health, pest, control and maintenance data using PalmGIS mobile apps.

WIRELESS IOT SENSOR NETWORKS
Data can also be collected from wireless IoT sensors networks setup at a farm using an AgrIOT base station. Although the AgrIOT platform is independent of communication protocol, we recommend LoRaWAN, which is a low-power cost-effective wide-area networking protocol designed to wirelessly connect battery-operated IoT sensors to the internet in regional, national, or global networks.
One AgrIOT base station can collect data from more than 1000 low-power sensors within at least 1.5 km range and transmits the sensor data over a single mobile data connection (cost-effective!) to the cloud. Registered users have direct access to the data through the AgrIOT mobile apps and web portal.
LoRaWAN Gateway
The AgrIOT LoRaWAN gateway is based on the best-in-class industry standard Wirnet iStation from Kerlink, combining simplicity of outdoor installation, unique superior coverage and operational excellence.
The Wirnet iStation is the reliable backbone of AgrIOT IoT wireless sensor networks and can support thousands of wireless sensors.* This flexible solution provides durable, low-power, wide area connectivity in support of a vast range of precision agriculture IoT applications.
Designed for easy deployment, the solution includes a, IP67 enclosure, LoRa antenna to improve outdoor range and provides a choice of 3G / 4G or Ethernet backhaul options.
The AgrIOT gateway has a range of at least 1.5 km.† Smart Farm Sensing offers pre-configured AgrIOT network solutions with soil moisture sensors, weather stations, smart valves, smart flow meters, smart traps, etc.

Automatic RPW Detection and Monitoring
Smart Farm Sensing offers an easy and effective smart RPW detector as extension of traditional pheromone RPW traps. The patented smart RPW detector automatically detect a trapped RPW and transfer the detection to our cloud-based registration platform AgrIOT. The detection results are analyzed by machine learning algorithms using historic / regional detection data and auxiliary information (such as weather, environmental, climatic, etc.) to maximize the detection probability.
The smart RPW detector drastically reduces the operational cost of monitoring by automatically counting the captured RPWs in the pheromone RPW traps. No need for weekly visiting the trap locations (labor intensive) and visual trap inspection (error prone). A continuously updated RPW data set of a farm or a region enables forecasting of RPW distribution and enables the implementation of effective IPM to combat RPW at farm and regional level.
Weather Sensing
Turn-key local weather monitoring solution as integrated module in AgrIOT. Weather data provide important information for daily or weekly irrigation decisions and pest and disease forecasts.
The weather monitoring module automatically acquires accurate weather data, either from public data sources or from a local weather station connected wirelessly to our AgrIOT cloud platform.
In conjunction with your field and crop data from, the AgrIOT weather module provides field ET data for irrigation advise, and even control information for your irrigation system.
Weather sensing for holistic agriculture intelligence
We believe that weather information is an essential input for many agriculture decisions, such as irrigation and pest and disease management. That is why we not simply provide weather data or a weather station. We provide an integrated weather sensing service in our AgrIOT platform, which can be used directly in your daily or weekly irrigation and IPM programs.
For cost-effective applications we offer hourly weather data from public sources. For local precision weather indication, we offer turn-key solutions based on industry standard weather stations from renowned suppliers, such as the Vantage Pro2* with LoRaWAN extension from Davis Instruments. We make sure weather data is wirelessly collected at 5min interval. All equipment is preconfigured which makes installation straightforward with clear video-instructions. But in consideration with your specific need, we can also offer tailored services.
